Un peu d'inspiration

I just wanted to drop a note and tell you all bonjour and fill you in on what I've been up to.
For the last couple of weeks my friend and I have been steadily working on preschool activities for our 3 year old children. While Amelia and I have been doing short lessons every morning since the beginning of the year, I have "officially" started to homeschool her. I never really planned to start this early, but it just naturally happened. I called up my friend, asked her if she wanted to collaborate on homeschooling activities, and boom we were meeting, making plans, and searching the web for ideas.

If any of you stay at home moms want to share ideas, I'd love to collaborate with you.
Once I get caught up on school planning and some other fun projects I've been working on, I hope to blog more, and, of course, do a little show and tell!

Until then, I thought that I would share with you this gorgeous image.
I am labeling this image "Dream home" as I would love to have a diningroom such as this.
The trailing tablecloth is also an excellent dramatic idea for a party or special event.
And the color palette is just parfait!

I hope all is well in your world!

À bientôt!

The table is indeed beautiful. I would get my big feet tangled in it and jerk it right off the table. :))

BOYCOTT AMERICAN WOMEN!

OH HOW CUTE! POOR WITTLE BABY IS UPSET BECAUSE MEN ARE BOYCOTTING HER!

Here's another American man who hates American women even more than I do:

How exciting it is that you are homeschooling! I just started my 4th year with my eldest and doing little things (like you do) with my two younger rascals. Sounds like you're off to a great start! Support is really important.

Not only the table cloth and every thing else.. but THOSE FLOORS get me hot and bothered...

maybe it's just the post delivery hormones but I doubt it. I LOVE those floors. I have all wood floors now, VERY old but someday if I don't I am going to just lay down planks, nail 'em, paint 'em and sand half of it back off. YUM.

I too am sitting here with this newborn planning "the school year" - I am so happy you are homeschooling. You will love it!!!

What a beautiful photo mandy, I borrowed it for gift wrap inspiration. That is weird that we were using the same paper, should use it to replicate the feel of the photo. Now, if you tell me that is what you are doing.....then it really will be spooky. And if so, then looks like we can have some fun comparing. I can't help it if you post such great photos. Looking forward to your post and what you do with that green paper (one of my favorites). Much love and I think it is wonderful that you are home-schooling lovely Amelia. Much love XO and xo

Dearest Mandy ~

Oh how I've missed you! I must admit, it's been REALLY difficult to say good-bye to summer and begin the slow process of dialing back into real organized life.

We need to chat again soon because I would love to hear/learn more about what you are doing with Amelia. Gaia and I have really been working on her letters and writing, but we need more. Sean and I continue to be torn with a finalized decision of homeschooling or private school.

This image is stunning!

Wishing you a beautiful new week ahead.

Bisous,
Melissa

Hi--I just visited via Parisienne Farmgirl and I am smitten with your blog--Paris, Christian, fashion, mermaids, Audrey Hepburn--and you look like my Aunt when she was a teenager. I'm following. Hope you have a beautiful day.

By the way, I think being told you resemble Audrey Hepburn has to be one of the best compliments a woman could receive.
