The beauty of lucite, or her acrylic counterpart, is in it's transparence. It is never too insecure to show its inner beauty, never too proud to have a wondering eye gaze through it and onto something else.
She flatters light as her smooth surfaces and curved lines happily reflect daylight, providing a truly ethereal effect.
One of these days, I hope to have a lucite/acrylic piece in my home, perhaps as an office chair in my "parisienne boudoir."

Lovely post, your pictures are gorgeous! I love lucite, it's so beautiful. I've had a lucite dinning table for years now, it's waiting for it's home in my little cottage if I can ever get it finished! I plan on mixing it up a little bit and using French chairs with it. Have a wonderful weekend!!!

I've never been crazy about lucite furniture but these pictures are so yummy I may have to change my mind!

I love lucite chairs with wooden tables. My sister's older dog Wally hides under her ghost chair when my very playful dog Lola gets to be too much for him. We keep telling him she can see him, but he seems determined.
